Inventa JetReactor Pilot Plants

Inventa developed pilot plants for technical, economical environmental and safety studies of various gas/liquid and liquid/liquid reactions based on its proprietary reactor technology.

The Inventa JetReactor pilot plant allows a series of processes to be performed under well controlled conditions and accurate measurement of important process parameters such as temperature, pressure, raw material dosing.

The simplicity of scaling-up pilot plant data for JetReactors is based on the fact that factors such as reaction time, recipe, temperature profile, pressure profile, yield and selectivity are subjected to the principle that they are directly applicable 1:1 from pilot scale to industrial scale.

The JetReactor has proven scale-up factor of 1:1 for 15 liters batch size to 70m3 batch size of an industrial plant reactor

The industrial relevant spectrum of bi-functional acids extends a region of C4 to C20 in terms of molecular weight, but new and untapped molecular structures will lead to new material science and applications.

Hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) are chemical compounds containing an amine functional group that are used as stabilizers in plastics and polymers. These compounds are primarily used to protect the polymers from the effects of photo-oxidation. They are also increasingly being used as thermal stabilizers, particularly for low and moderate level of heat.

The global market for HALS is projected to reach US$1.2 billion by 2025. Ranging from plastics, nylon, polyethylene, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polytetrafluoroethylene to epoxy, synthetic polymers are omnipresent and quite literally are indispensable in modern life. Characteristics of polymers that make them important materials of the 21st century include resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
